Research Synopsis
My research examines widespread beliefs about gender and masculinity, and how these
shape people's lives. In particular, I research how gender beliefs shape people's
identities, how they differ across cultures, and how they contribute to discrimination,
sexism, and systemic inequities. I am currently involved in several large-scale collaborations
that seek to understand topics such as gender equality, sexual prejudice, gender-based
aggression, and beliefs about manhood, from a cross-cultural lens.
