USF Basic Economic Development Course Builds Leaders, Strengthens Communities, and Showcases Floridas Momentum

USFs 2025 Basic Economic Development Course brought together 46 professionals for three days of practitioner-led training, peer learning, and statewide collaboration on the St. Petersburg campus. As Florida continues to lead the nation in talent attraction and economic momentum, the BEDC equips new and experienced practitioners with the tools, insights, and connections needed to strengthen their communities. This years program also set the stage for the courses 50th anniversary in 2026.
