The Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Studies is designed for individuals who want to strengthen their expertise in working with elementary-aged children across a variety of educational and leadership roles. The program prepares graduates with advanced skills in planning, collaboration, and leadership, empowering them to make a meaningful impact within their schools and communities. This program is offererd on the USF St. Pete Campus.

Please note: This program does not lead to initial teacher certification.

What you will learn

Students in the M.A. in Educational Studies program learn how to effectively support and engage elementary-age children across a variety of educational and community settings. The program helps them build strong skills in planning, leadership, and instructional strategies that can be applied in non-certification roles such as youth programs, private education, nonprofits, and other child-focused organizations. Through research-informed coursework and practical experiences, students develop the knowledge and confidence to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
