Master of Arts in Physical Education

USF’s Master of Arts in Physical Education is a fully online program designed for educators committed to fostering lifelong physical activity and high-quality physical education. This 30-credit hour degree prepares reflective, research-informed teachers who can design inclusive, motivating, and standards-based PE programs. What to expect

This 30-credit hour fully online program includes core coursework in measurement and research, a content specialization focused on instructional design and teaching effectiveness, and electives tailored to student interests. Courses are taught by nationally and internationally recognized faculty who bring extensive expertise in sport pedagogy and curriculum design. Students complete a final written comprehensive exam and benefit from a flexible structure that allows for direct application of learning within their own teaching environments.
