Critical Language Scholarship opens door for USF student to study Arabic in Jordan
Third-year ƹƵ student Ashley Parow, a history and political science double major, was selected for the 2025 Critical Language Scholarship Program to study Arabic language and culture in Amman, Jordan.

When Hilda Sheridan-Hewlett moved from London, England to Tampa, FL. to study literature and film, she was so swept away by the natural beauty of the local beaches that she decided to write and direct a short film. The final product, “Lost in the Current," has so far been screened at five film festivals.
