Our intent is to offer you an internship experience that you will find exciting and rewarding, but in which you also feel well-supported by the department. To that end, we have worked to establish relationships between the department and various community partners.

How to Become a Community Partner
Submit our Expression of Interest form to host USF History interns. Our model pairs academic coursework with onsite work, so supervisors focus on mentoring and real-world training, not curriculum. We welcome unpaid exploratory roles (often for new undergraduates) and paid positions when available for experienced or graduate students. Interns typically commit at least 6 onsite hours per week alongside the course.
