A good way to relieve stress and anxiety is through yoga. It provides many benefits, like improving mental health, reducing burnout, promotes self-care and reduces anxiety. Join us everyday for a free yoga class in nature, all levels welcomed!

Join us in welcoming back the birds that make our ecosystem go round with our all day, "Welcome Back, Songbirds," Open House! Rich with guided tours of the garden, sales and vendors, alongside speakers and programs, this is not the event to miss!

The spring time is the perfect season to start thinking about planting for your home gardens! You can join Dr. Huegel on Saturday, January 17th at 10am - 12pm for a program designed to answer all of your questions about growing plants successfully from seed, to propagating them from cuttings and air layering.

BEEKEEPING
We have an Apiary Collective that meets to talk about our Western Honey Bee (Apis mellifera), join us to learn through demonstration about our Botanical Gardens hives!
The Collective will meet at 10:30 AM, every second and fourth saturday of the month.
MESSER FAMILY BEEKEEPING SCHOLARSHIP
Anyone can have the opportunity to participate in our course through the Messer Family Award. To become an applicant, submit a personal statement—500 words or less - on why urban beekeeping is important to you and the community.
This award will assist with course expenses for individuals interested in pursuing beekeeping as well as show a committed effort to increase urban beekeeping in the local community. Expenditures awarded from this fund will be used for but not limited to course registration costs, the purchase of course educational materials and required supplies.
