We are In an unprecedented time, faced with historic challenges that will require extraordinary executive leadership that produces high performing teams and positive student outcomes. A strong public education system is a cornerstone of a thriving economy and healthy and prosperous quality of life in any state. Leadership matters and we must get this right for present and future generations of the great State of Florida.
The David C. Anchin Center Executive Leadership Training Series Is designed to develop highly effective executive school district leaders. The executive leadership program will provide innovative training to support and advance student success and school district key performance Indicators (KPIs).
Superintendents strive to address and accelerate success in all aspects of a school district from operations and systems development to thelr core business of student learning and achlevement. Over the past several decades there have been growing demands for leadership strategles to address increased societal challenges that greatly impact student success.
At the same time, recruitment and retention Issues of district leaders is at an all-time low in Florida and the country. A successful executive leader today needs actionable and meaningful support, coaching, and training more than ever.
Harness the Power of Your Executive Team
The content of the David C. Anchin Center Executive Leadership Training Series will directly and aggressively address Issues of societal challenges, high expectations based on student performance for all students, political landscapes, ability to lead change, build strong relationships with staff and school boards, develop effective strategic plans, and manage resources and yourself with efficlency and effectiveness.
The program will be driven by educational research, practical strategies, and leadership that works in the fleld. A yearlong three-part series will build on routines of looking at best practices based on research, hearing from successful practitioners, developing work plans based on the "heavy boulder" needs of the district, and ongoing leadership support.

Session Format
Presentation of Research: Hear from an expert in the field in a 90-120 minute keynote focusing on the session topic.
Voices from the Field: Successful Practitioner Stories: Hear from Florida district leaders about their experiences leading big systems for positive change. Includes a question and answer period and opportunities for cross-district conversation.
Team Planning: Dedicated time for your own executive team to plan forward, identify heavy boulders, and actionable solutions in response.
Personalized, Responsive Coaching: In between sessions, work with a mentor who will visit your district to serve as a thought partner, critical friend, and third-party support system as you advance your executive team.
