Judicial Branch
Overview
Welcome to the Supreme Court
The USF Student Government Supreme Court serves to administer proper action when Student
Government Law is misinterpreted or violated and has jurisdiction over all cases and
controversies involving Student Government. The Supreme Court is made up of nine student
justices, a judicial clerk and is led by the Chief, Ranking and Senior Justices. Justices
are appointed by the Student Body President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
The Judicial Branch also has the final jurisdiction over parking citations and holds
parking appeals as a service for students. If you have received a parking citation
and believe extenuating circumstances might warrant the dismissal or reduction of
your fine, you may appeal the citation with the Parking and Transportation Services
               for
reconsideration. Parking appeals must be made within 14 calendar days of receiving
the citation. Students may request assistance during the final appeal process from
Student Government. To request assistance please email studentgovernment@usf.edu.
